Brian Robertson (1973-2011) - was CEO of Amonix, a leading provider of concentrating solar PV systems and former COO of SunEdison, the country's leading solar energy services provider. Brian was a graduate of MIT with a degree in Computer Science and had an MBA from Harvard Business School. Brian was not only an early investor, but also an active advisor. He used the experience he learned from his past successful ventures to actively advise us on all aspects of our business. Senior Technical and Business Advisor Dr. Jay Agarwal
Dr. Jay Agarwal has more than 40 years of experience as a senior technical executive with CRA International and, previously, with U.S. Steel, Kennecott Copper, and Amax. His wide range of experience includes mergers & acquisition, market analysis, technology management, waste management, environmental engineering, business strategy, new product and process development, patent assessment, coal conversion, gasification, and technical and economic feasibility assessments for the metals and materials, chemicals, and energy industries. Jay has been working with us almost on a weekly basis advising us on technical designs and business strategy.

Titus Brenninkmeijer is a social entrepreneur whose work has focused on assisting global entrepreneurs to grow sustainable businesses through the development of commercially viable applications. In 2005, Titus founded Solgenix, LLC, to support solar energy entrepreneurs in emerging and developed markets around the world. He is also a co-founding member and sits on the Steering Committee of the REDCO Alliance (Rural Energy Delivery Companies), a group of thirteen solar energy entrepreneurs from Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Titus was the very first investor in Promethean Power and has been an invaluable source of advice and support.

Travis Bradford is a former private equity fund manager, leads Prometheus Institute, promoting global economic, industrial, and societal sustainable development. Travis, who is also the editor of PV News, the oldest PV newsletter in the US, used his financial knowledge and expertise about the international solar market to help us craft a solution that is better than the current alternative.

Dr. Jessica Townsend earned her Ph.D., at MIT. Some of her doctoral work was done at MIT in the Gas Turbine Laboratory where she developed, tested and modeled evaporatively cooled turbine blades for advanced aircraft engines. In addition to her research, she lectured and ran tutorials for undergraduate thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics classes. She was also the graduate student liaison for the Aeronautics and Astronautics Department Head Search and a co-founder of the Graduate Association for Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Mary Tripsas is an Associate Professor in the Entrepreneurial Management Unit at the Harvard Business School where she currently teaches an elective, "Leading Innovative Ventures." She has also taught "The Entrepreneurial Manager," and "Technology and Competitive Strategy," and is active in executive education. Before coming to Harvard, Professor Tripsas was on the faculty of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mary’s research examines how radical technological change transforms industries, exploring both innovation in established firms, and entrepreneurial opportunities. Her recent work focuses on the socio-cognitive processes that actors engage in as they make sense of radically new technology. Mary has been having Promethean Power participate in her class every year where we gain insights from her and her students evaluating our business plans. Mary even participated in one of our sales pitches to the chairman of India’s largest dairy! She can tell you more about that one day.
